The Nissan Kicks is a subcompact crossover SUV from the Japanese automaker that entered production in 2016.

Nissan had already launched a subcompact crossover SUV 5 years before called the Juke, this newer model was slightly larger.

This Kicks model was tailored more towards the North American market whereas the Juke was engineered more for the European one.

It is built on the V platform developed in-house at Nissan and used under many other small vehicles such as the Micra and the Note.

Engine options for this car are rather limited, you can choose from one of 3 options and one of those has a mild-hybrid system fitted.

That hybrid system can capture the energy lost during braking and recycle it when accelerating again – Nissan branded this as the e-Power model.

Inside the car, you can find some must-have features such as a touchscreen infotainment system dominating the dashboard.

In the upper trims available for the Nissan Kicks you will find connectivity for the Apple and Android devices, allowing them to work with the infotainment system.

For 2021 the range received a facelift that brought the exterior up to date as well as the components used underneath the car.

You now had LED headlights lighting the road ahead, an electronic parking brake and an improved shock absorber system for a smoother ride.
