The smallest in the Hyundai hatchback family, the i10, first made its debut in 2007. Since its release, a total of three generations have entered the markets. The latest of these was unveiled in 2019.

This model also received a facelift at the beginning of 2023.

As its name indicates, it sits below both the i20 and the i30. Of course, this means it typically faces competition from its slightly larger sibling.

Other competition has come from other city cars like the Kia Picanto, Fiat Panda, and Volkswagen Up!

It has been mainly sold as either a hatchback or sedan.

There have been a number of trim options offered by the Korean carmaker. These are the base SE Connect, followed by the Premium, and the top of the range N Line. Older trim levels have included the S, S Air, SE, SE Blue, Premium, and more.

Of course, the N Line model is the high-performance variant, which was first released in 2019.

Engines have changed slightly over the years, but most of these powertrains have been fairly small. For the latest iteration of the model, petrol engines have included four different 1.0 L inline-3 engines, as well as a 1.2 L inline-4. There is also a single 1.2 L inline-3 diesel engine offered.

These are fitted with either a 5-speed manual or automated manual.

There has not been any hint at releasing an EV variant. However, the Hyundai BlueON was released in 2009, which was a fully-electric model that was based heavily on the i10.
