The Dodge Journey is a mid-size crossover SUV that was produced between the years 2009 and 2020.

Underneath the car was the same platform used by the Chrysler 200, Jeep Compass, Chrysler Sebring and the Dodge Avenger.

It was only sold in one generation of design through its 19-year lifetime but did get a facelift in 2011.

During this facelift, the exterior was changed significantly as well as the suspension, steering and engine/transmission.

The addition of a touchscreen infotainment system built into the Journey’s dashboard and digital instrument cluster helped the car appeal to the auto market.

Additional technologies were also added to the car including LED taillights, keyless entry and keyless engine starting.

The engine options for the car throughout its life were chosen to help the car appeal to the lucrative North American region although diesel options were added for export.

For the final year that the car was on sale the choice of trims was reduced to just two with only one engine option between them.

All of these last-year models also had 3-rows of seating with no 2-row option like before.

This Dodge Journey was dropped as the company continues to rebrand as a performance-car manufacturer.
